Welcome to the behind the scenes of our F/W 18 campaign photo shoot for the Femme Fatale collection! This shoot was a dream come true and quite literally brought our vision to life right before our eyes. Thank you once again to this incredible team for making this collection come to life!

When I first started looking for internships, never once did I think that I would end up working in the fashion industry. However, it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Working for Madalyn Joy Designs has opened my eyes to so many exciting new things and I am so sad that it is all coming to an end. If it was possible for me to stay with this amazing company full time I would jump at the opportunity.

Hey everyone its Ayla, Madalyn’s sewing intern for this past spring semester. I am wrapping up my time here as I wrap up my senior year at Mount Mary University. I joked that there was always lace or appliques to be trimmed, but even in those small things I found lots of joy and inspiration and could not have asked for a better experience interning for Madalyn Joy Designs. Thank you so much for the amazing opportunity!

Madalyn Joy Designs celebrates one year of being in business! So much has happened this past year that we wanted to take some time to reflect, celebrate, and thank you all for your support over the course of this past year. We also want to share a couple of changes we are making going into year two of our business!

Madalyn Joy Designs is delighted to share their official model lineup for Milwaukee Fashion Week 2018! Check out these talented ladies who will be gracing the catwalk wearing the new collection come September!

Nicole, Moriah, and I have been working together for exactly 2 years this month so I wanted to put together a blog post to share our adventures together the past couple of years. I like working with Nicole and Moriah so much because it truly doesn't feel like work! We all trust each other and go into each shoot with a general idea and concept but always leave room to get creative during the shoots whether it be Nicole trying a new pose or Moriah trying a new lense. 

It is with heavy hearts today that we share a memorial blog post in honor of the late Sonia Weber. She was beautiful, charismatic, and full of life. She brought such joy and happiness to everyone she had the chance to work with. Sonia will be dearly missed but her memory will live on forever. 

Happy Valentine's Day from Madalyn Joy Designs! We absolutely love Valentine's Day here at Madalyn Joy Designs because it is the perfect excuse to celebrate all things lingerie! The holiday of love tends to get a bad rap because of its cheesy cards and heart shaped boxes of chocolates, but Madalyn Joy Designs is here to put the class and sass back into Valentine's Day with luxe lingerie. 

Hello, I'm Claire! I am one of Madalyn Joy Designs's interns so you may have seen me around the past few months working in the studio during the week or helping out backstage at photo shoots and fashion shows. Since I have had the wonderful privilege of getting to know the designer behind the brand, I thought that you all should too! So in honor of her 24th birthday tomorrow, Madalyn and I were able to sit down and chat about her first year as a business owner and what’s in store for this upcoming year. I am so excited to introduce to you all to Ayla Visuri, my newest intern! She will be with me this Spring semester from February to May and will be helping with all sewing aspects of Madalyn Joy Designs.  I am looking forward to focusing on my niche of robes in 2018. Through months of research, I have come to realize that robes, specifically for brides, is what I truly love to do and what I am naturally best at. Do you know those Weight Watchers commercials where Oprah declares her love for bread? Well that is me with robes! I love robes. I really love robes! I want to be known as the robe lady! When someone is in need of a bespoke robe, I want to be the first person people think of!
