Hello everyone! Happy Monday! I am so excited to be starting this new series called Monday Muse and to be kicking it off with none other than the fabulous Kara Jean Mueller!

Like most modern relationships, I met Kara through an app! I was looking for models for a fashion show back in May and Kara reached out via Instagram. Needless to say, it was meant to be because Kara has been in just about every photo shoot and fashion show since then. We have been building our careers together and it honestly is so exciting to see the people you work with grow and flourish in their careers!

Kara is one of THE biggest supporters of Madalyn Joy Designs. I think she has worn just about every single look since summer and is the MOST reliable person/model ever. She is always willing to rearrange her schedule in order to be available for a shoot or fashion show! It is hard to believe that we have only known each other for 6 months when it feels like it has been a lifetime. We quickly became friends and have bonded over our love of going to bed early, memes, girl power, and just chatting about life on a daily basis.

Kara is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! She truly thinks about everyone in her life and cares for them all. It is a true pleasure and honor to have Kara as a friend and fabulous model. This is just the beginning, girlfriend!

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I am 21 years old and my birthday is Valentine’s Day! I will be going back to school at UWM in January for Spanish and Early Childhood Education. I love to work with autistic student because my step sister is autistic. I have a true passion for understanding and caring for others!

How did you get into modeling?

I started modeling about a year ago for a figure drawing class. I would pose for the class as they would draw me. It was really cool to see someone else's vision of you.

What is your favorite part about modeling?

Meeting new people!

What is your least favorite thing about modeling?

I don't like the fact that you subject yourself to criticism. I especially don't care for the comments from the creepers and haters. The modeling industry receives a lot of harassment as a whole which can be frustrating to deal with.

What has been your favorite modeling experience?

My favorite modeling experience was definitely Milwaukee Fashion Week because I finally felt confident! Also, all of the Madalyn Joy models got along really well which made the model posse absolute fire!

What was your most beautiful & confident moment?

Rocking the Milwaukee Fashion Week runway!

Who is your muse/inspiration?

You, Madalyn Joy! We all love you and know you are doing this out of passion and not for money!

Fun fact about yourself?

I spent a year living in Hawaii.

What are you looking forward to most in 2018?

I am looking forward to starting school, traveling, and attending Lori’s wedding in the summer!

What is your #1 modeling goal?

I want to be in a magazine that you pick up at the grocery store!
