I encounter two major misconceptions about lingerie on a daily basis: lingerie is meant to be worn for someone else like a significant other and lingerie is only meant to be worn at home specifically the bedroom.
Both are completely false! These misconceptions may have had some truth to them decades ago but surely not anymore. Lingerie can be worn out and about every day if done in a tasteful and elegant way. Also, lingerie doesn't have to be worn for someone else. It should be worn because it makes the person wearing it feel beautiful and confident, not because it pleases the viewer.

OPTION 1 // Jeans + Jacket
Most bodysuits can be paired beautifully with a skinny jean and jacket and it can completely elevate the look from lounging at home to being street style ready in a matter of minutes! Try accessorizing with a pair of oversized sunnies and strappy heels and you'll be ready to take on the day like a total lady boss. Heading out for drinks with girlfriends after work!? No problem! Ditch the jacket for a more scandalous night time look that will have you ready to dance the night away.
OPTION 2 // Black Button Down
One of the easiest ways to jazz up your day time look is to wear a lacy white bralette underneath your black button shirt. The contrast of the lacy lingerie with the button down gives a 'borrowed from the men's section' feel while maintaining the confidence of a woman in charge. Dare to give a sneak peek of what's underneath without baring it all!? Try this refreshing look and trust me, showing a little is a lot more sexy than showing it all.
OPTION 3 // Statement Blazer
A good statement blazer is a must for any woman's closest so it's a no brainer that it adds the perfect finishing touch to a lacy bodysuit.
