Good Morning + Happy Monday!

Today, I am sharing what I wear to work on a typical weekday when I have fittings + meetings and illustrating + sewing work to do in the studio. I always opt for my favorite pair of Zara jeans because I know they fit and will keep me comfortable all day long. Essentially, half of my closet is black and white stripes so a striped shirt is an obvious and effortless choice. Since Wisconsin weather in spring can be so unpredictable and change drastically all within a day, I like to stay prepared by wearing a trench coat that will keep me covered for whatever the day may bring whether it be rain or sun!

Most of my jewelry comes from my boyfriend, Ben, for special occasions like holidays and birthdays so I typically will be wearing a piece from him. He got me the Henri Bendel malachite bar necklace for our 5 year anniversary a couple of years back in addition to the Jewels & Aces pave line earrings for my college graduation back in May. I love both pieces so much that I wear them daily. Also, Cassie gave me this gorgeous gold monogrammed necklace for Christmas and I absolutely adore it!  I just love simple and minimalistic jewelry pieces that can be layered and paired with a variety of looks.

I definitely have an addiction to both fashion magazines and lattes so most likely you'll always see one of them in my hand when I am on the go or at the studio. It worked out perfectly that my studio is only one block away from Daily Baking Company because I pretty much just live there! I love their lattes and have tried pretty much all of their food and delicious bakery for both breakfast and lunch. I know everyone who works there and am friends with them all on social media. They all are SO nice and amazing that it makes going to Daily Baking that much sweeter! It always brightens my day seeing a friendly face! :)

Port Washington is where I grew up and it feels so amazing to be back. Everyone has been so welcoming of my business and I just love meeting new people every single day. I am so blessed to have this opportunity to share what I love with everyone in my hometown. Thank you so much to everyone who has been so incredibly kind and supportive of my new studio and business! I appreciate you all so very much!

Have a wonderful Monday!

xoxo
