It was obvious that Katherine and I needed to collaborate after Milwaukee Fashion Week and it was even more obvious that she had to wear one of the bordeaux bodysuits. I mean her blog name is Bordeaux BLVD after all. ;) It just so happened that Katherine and Jeisson's two year dating anniversary was coming up so we decided to style one of the bodysuits with a pair of jeans and a jacket for an anniversary date night look.

A couple weeks ago we got together to photograph Carrie wearing her bespoke trench coat with her fabulous sidekick, Ruby. Needless to say, Ruby stole the show at times during the photo shoot with her adorable face and spunky personality! Carrie looked absolutely gorgeous and looked like the spitting image of Jackie O! She has such a classic and elegant style which allows her sophisticated nature to shine through.

Lingerie can be worn out and about every day if done in a tasteful and elegant way. Also, lingerie doesn't have to be worn for someone else. Sadly, today is Vanali's last day as an intern here at Madalyn Joy Designs! I am so sad to see her go but I know she is off to do amazing things. We both answered a couple questions below recapping our summer internship experience. 

The garden party has been my favorite fashion event to date because everyone truly enjoyed themselves. No one was stressed about falling on the runway or making sure they hit their mark, but instead the evening was what summer should be about... enjoying quality time with friends in the summer air with a glass of bubbly in hand  whilst smelling the roses. 

Let me introduce you all to Vanali Phanthavong! She is a design student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in Textile and Fashion Design and to my luck, is spending the summer at home in Milwaukee before she starts her final year at school. We met because we both were in the same program at UW-Madison! Such a small world and so crazy how everything works out! Get to know Vanali more!
